2House Bat Rules
LG has approved the following bat rules for the 2018 season:
- Instructional to Major B - Any USA approved bat (2 1/4 or 2 5/8 Only, nothing larger)
- Major A - Any 2 1/4 bat and Any USA approved bat (2 1/4 or 2 5/8 Only, nothing larger)
- Sr 13-15 - BBCORR only bat
House Information
Cal Ripken Division:
This encompasses our 5-year-olds through 12-year-olds.
The Lou Gehrig levels included in the Cal Ripken division are
Instructional, 1A, 2A, 3A, Major C, MAJOR B, MAJOR A
Senior 13-15 Division:
This is open to all areas division.
All Amherst and surrounding area players ages 13 thru 15 are welcome to register
Independant 16U, 18U/19U Division:
This level is based on the interest level of players and availaibility.
Lou Gehrig enters teams into an Independant League or The Niagara Frontier Babe Ruth League.
Away Games are played at various facilities and most Home games are played on Lou Gehrig’s complex.
The formation of 16 through 19U teams is dependent on available coaches and registered players.

Thenumber of teams formed fluctuates from year to year.
