When mass emails are sent out to league participants, they have the option to unsubscribe from emails at the bottom of the email. An administrator can change this by going to members->players/parents->parent edit(or player edit depending on the type of registration) and looking up their member profile. There is an email opt-out option in the personal info box that you can uncheck to enable them to receive emails.
