IYS encourages working-aged players and general community members to participate by becoming Referees.

For our In-Town Soccer program, referees should be at least 12 years old and can email our board if interested.

For Travel Soccer programs with Essex County Youth Soccer Association (ECYSA), referees must be at least 14 years old and can find information on Referee Courses through the Massachusetts State Referee Committee.
