Mavericks Baseball serves 2^nd through 8^th Grade boys who play on teams by their grade. These teams offer different levels of competition based on a child’s baseball skill level. They are selected at an evaluation to play on our Blue team which plays in the Wisconsin State Youth Baseball League and our Red Team which plays in the Cactus league. 

We will put together as many teams as our coaches determine can be competitive in their respective leagues. Blue teams travel further, throughout southeastern Wisconsin, and play in 4-6 tournaments. Red teams travel within Waukesha county and play in 2-4 tournaments.

Tryouts are conducted in late July or early August each summer at the end of the baseball season to select the next year’s team. Practices begin indoors in late January or early February one day per week and then expand to 3 practices per week in April or as soon as the weather permits.
